The Endocrinology & Diabetes Unit is a diagnostic and treatment centre for children and families affected with diabetes and other endocrine conditions. Endocrinology and diabetes is predominantly an outpatient specialty.

Advances in the treatment of diabetes mellitus have increased the life expectancy of patients with the disease. This increase in longevity of life however is meaningful only if it translates to a better quality of life. We at The Corporate Hospital have started a Diabetic Clinic with the Physician, Orthopaedic Surgeon, Plastic Surgeon and Podiatrist to attend these patients.
